What is the Best Beer Around??

Who says beer isn't healthy?? Did you know that beer or any hard drinks are healthier than soft drinks (i.e. Coke, Sprite)?? Beer and hard drinks are fermented, which makes it healthy drink. Don't know the exact details yet, but the fact that it is fermented makes it safe for us to drink. That is its positive side, while the soft drinks will give you what? Diabetes is one. As for me, it is better to drink Beer or any hard drinks rather than soft drinks...

Now for the topic... Hehe.. What is the best beer around?? Redhorse, SanMig Light, Pale Pilsen, Strong Ice, Coors Light, Colt 45, Miller, etc... For me, I'd go for the Red Horse.. Its sweet and has a strong effect. I mean really strong.. So, take your pick.. What will it be???

HELL IS ABOUT TO BE UNLEASHED!

DIABLOS! That is the name of our team, and I'm sure we are gonna have our hands full tomorrow against taller and heftier opponents. It may be just a company tournament, but the competition will be HOT AS HELL. I for one won't give the win to our counter parts that easily, and I don't like to lose. The goal is to be the Champion, and I'm gonna make sure we will take by force. We may be small, but we are terrible as anyone can think of. Its game time!!!

Effects of Monosodium Glutamate

Can you cook food WITHOUT the use of any MSG?? Well, if you do, better stop it. I know that MSG adds taste to the food we eat, but it has some negative effects to our body. More of, it affects our brain. Some people say, after eating at a chinese restaurant (where they often use MSG), that they feel dizzy. Well, thats dangerous especially when you are about to drive home. MSG is also found in most fost foods that we buy, canned goods for example. It is like a POISON that slowly kills the people around the world. If you want to stay healthy, STOP USING MSG!!!

Martial Arts by Genre... And who made them famous

Aikido= O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba (the founder of Aikido)
Steven Seagal (7th degree black belt and Actor)
Based from what I read, aikido originated from Juijitsu, Samurai, and Aiki... Those were the ancient martial arts by the Japanese and was often used during the war..

Juijitsu= The Gracie family
There are many variands of Juijitsu, and this martial art is made famous by Royce Gracie when he joined the UFC....

Jeet Kune Do= Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee

Tai Chi= Jet Li

Boxing= Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales
Hehehehe.. well, I'm sure that they are not the only famous boxers around. There are the likes of Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Evander Hollifield, etc..

Muay Thai= Famous around the world, but I can't think of a person who uses this art and is known for it. The way I see it, this art is very practical now a days.

Tae Kwan Do= Hwarang?? Hehe.. This is made know around the world by the Koreans.... Thanks to them, we are able to learn the art of Kicking.. Kicking someone's ass.. Hahaha

Well, there are still different kinds of Martial Arts around the world, and there are loads of them. For now, this are the things that came into my mind.

Hey, this will be beneficial for all of us. Self Defense plus good excerise.. hehehe..

Blessing in Disguise!

I admi it, I still feel dab aboutour lose to Jordan yesterday (monday) which means we can kiss our Beijing Olympic hopes good bye. Yes it is time to mourn, but that doesn't mean that we have to stop training. Look on th bright side, now we have 4 years to prepare instead of just 5 months for another Olympic shot. Who knows, maybe we can beat the hell out of Yao Ming and his crew. In my opinion, I would like the team to remain intact with Coach Chot at helm. I really like to give him another shot at that. Dreams maybe shattered for a greater and better future, something that don't see coming. Let this defeat be our stepping stone towards success.

VIVA PILIPINAS!!!

Another Classic Game between the Green and Blue

Ateneo waited 22 long months to get back at La Salle.
Yesterday, before a huge, boisterous crowd at the Araneta Coliseum, the Blue Eagles didn’t lose that chance as they dealt the Green Archers a stinging 80-77 loss in overtime.
The last time the two teams met was in Sept. 25, 2005. It was the Final Four, and the Green Archers won, 74-57, to reach the finals. La Salle beat Ateneo in all three meetings that year.
For Ateneo coach Norman Black, it was his first win over La Salle and its coach Franz Pumaren, his former assistant in the PBA
“Yes, that’s right. This is my first win over La Salle as a coach. It feels good,” said Black, who never ran out of heroes in the 45-minute ballgame played as if the world was at stake.
“We dedicate this win to the school, to our supporters who stayed behind us even if we didn’t do well against La Salle in the last few games,” said Black.
The victory pushed Ateneo up in the standings at 4-1, just barely behind unbeaten University of the East at 4-0. The loss, meanwhile, was the second straight for La Salle, which took a bad loss to UE last Sunday.
Ateneo, from its big men to the little ones, was just more determined to win this one, holding their ground against JV Casio’s one-man show in the final quarter.
“We just showed a lot of desire, and a lot of hunger to win. We did a good job rebounding, too. We ran into a team that’s very difficult to beat,” added the Ateneo mentor.
Cliff Arao, Jobe Nkemakolam, Rabeth Al-Hussaini manned the paint for Ateneo while Kurt Long, Jai Reyes and Chris Tiu provided the spark, the latter sinking the clincher, a triple from left wing with just 9.9 ticks left.
But still, it was Reyes, nephew of former Blue Eagle and now RP team head coach Chot Reyes, who carried the fight for Ateneo. He had 18 points, two rebounds, six assists and a steal in just 26 minutes.
Casio, a member of the previous teams that won the title for La Salle, scored 15 points in the third period, all of them coming in a 21-16 run that tied the game at 65-all late in regulation.
